The toolkit consists of two parts, the Docentric Toolkit Add-In for MS Word (used for designing document/report templates) and the Docentric Toolkit Report Engine (.NET assembly), each of which has its own required prerequsists. If you run the Docentric Toolkit setup, all the required prerequisites will be installed on the target machine, if not present yet.


MS Word Add-In

  • .Net Framework 4.0 (Gets automatically downloaded and installed if not present during the setup process)
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools For Office Runtime (Gets automatically downloaded and installed if not present during the setup process)
  • MS Word 2007, MS Word 2010 or MS Word 2013

Report Engine

  • .Net Framework 3.5 or higher
  • Visual Studio 2008 or higher
