When the installation of the evaluation copy is finished you can unlock the product using a license file (.lic file). A license file is issued and usually send to you by email after purchasing the product.
It is assumed that an evaluation copy of the product is already installed on the computer.
To unlock the product take the following steps:
- Save the Docentric license (license.lic file) on your file system.
- Open MS Word and open the File tab.

Press the About Docentric button. The About Docentric dialog will open.

Press the button Register and locate the saved license file.

Product is now unlocked.
