Docentric Table of Contents Example

Do you have an example of how to program the Table of Contents? We have designed a template to use ToC and have attempted to use Document.Load() to try to open and update the ToC, but we get the same Exception as the "Document.Load throws exception" discussion. We have tried using the lastest version as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Documents with TOC are supported by DOM and Document.Load should work as expected. It seems like an issue that needs to be fixed. Could you please attach the offending document to your post so that we can reproduce the issue on our side? In case you wouldn't like to share the document publicly on this forum, you can also send it to our support email address: support at docentric dot com.

Thanks, Jure Leskovec

Hi,

We have found and fixed the issue. Please download this non-public release containing the fix: http://www.docentric.com/downloads/DocentricToolkitSetup4.0.exe

And please let me know if the release fixes the problem on your side.

Thanks, Jure Leskovec

We are receiving a new error when we use Document.Save():

Method not found: 'Double Docentric.Pdf.Drawing.XGraphics.MeasureStringWidth_DT(System.String, Docentric.Pdf.Drawing.XFont)'.

Hi,

We were unable to reproduce the issue using the attached document. Could you please provide the document that causes the error. Also, could you double check that you are using the new assembly?

Thanks, Jure
